New delivery option for unaddressed leaflet distribution: Bertelsmann and Deutsche Post cooperate

The market for unaddressed household advertising remains on the move. A new delivery solution from Bertelsmann Marketing Services and Deutsche Post AG creates an offering that can become particularly relevant in areas where the quality, availability and cost-effectiveness of distribution are particularly important. This is an important signal for retailers: additional delivery options strengthen the stability of product communication in the long term.

Neue Zustelloption für unadressierte Prospektverteilung

The market for unaddressed leaflet distribution is getting a new cooperation: Bertelsmann Marketing Services and Deutsche Post are planning a joint delivery model. The launch is scheduled for May 2026 in Paderborn, with other regions to follow. The model will be used in areas where unaddressed delivery is currently particularly challenging: in areas with poor distribution quality or in markets where a lack of competition affects prices.

The new solution thus addresses a specific challenge in the market. Additional delivery options can help to close existing gaps and stabilise distribution in areas where it has so far reached its limits. This creates more room for manoeuvre for retailers and other advertising companies that rely on unaddressed household advertising as an integral part of their product communication.

Delivery is planned on Thursdays and Fridays. The product will be delivered as a single handle unit, wrapped in a paper sleeve, for example. The co-operation shows that the market is continuing to work on viable models for leaflet distribution. Particularly in an environment in which delivery quality, costs and regional availability are becoming increasingly important, reliable alternatives are gaining in significance.
