How have you changed professionally since you started with us?
When I started my six-month mandatory internship at MEDIA CENTRAL, I was in my third semester and had no practical experience. I didn't know how everyday office life worked or exactly what to expect. Everything was new - and I was correspondingly excited. But I was warmly welcomed right from the start. After the internship, I was allowed to stay on as a working student - for a whole year. I'm currently doing my bachelor's internship here and if everything goes well, I might even start my first full-time job at MEDIA CENTRAL after graduation. Today I am much more confident, more independent and feel like a real part of the team.
Were there moments when you really grew? Tell us about them!
Definitely! I've learnt an incredible amount, especially from my team. Professionally - especially in the graphics area - I've been able to acquire a lot of new skills. I can now design presentations that I can really score points with my fellow students - that would have been unthinkable before. But more importantly, I've gained more self-confidence personally. Before, I was often afraid that my ideas weren't good enough and hardly dared to show my designs. Today, I am encouraged, receive honest feedback and am even encouraged to fully realise my creativity. One moment I often think back to was the first time I was allowed to create the design of a map.bites map and then received praise from my team. That was a really key moment. Not only that, but many other things showed me: I can do something - and I'm allowed to show it.
What does "Glow Up" mean for you and your job?
For me, a "Glow Up" doesn't just mean getting better professionally, but above all growing personally. I have arrived in my role, got to know great people and made real connections - with colleagues I never thought we would develop such a good relationship with. I'm more confident and have become more open, and that also has an impact on my life outside of work. It feels good to feel confident in what you do - and at the same time to know that there is still so much development possible. In the end, this has become more than just a job.
What advice would you give to someone at the start of their career?
Be open - to new tasks, to new people and, above all, to yourself. You don't have to know everything or do everything perfectly. What counts is the willingness to learn and grow. Don't be afraid to ask questions or accept help - no one starts with complete knowledge. And never forget: you are not alone. Everyone brings their own baggage, but in the best team you carry it together. That makes all the difference.

How have you changed professionally since you started with us?
I have undergone clear professional development since I started working at MEDIA CENTRAL. I have been able to develop new skills and significantly expand my knowledge. At the same time, I have also developed personally. Working at MC has given me the opportunity to prove myself in a dynamic environment and to utilise my strengths in a targeted manner. I have become more self-confident and now approach challenges with more confidence. I have also learnt to work even more effectively in a team.
Were there moments when you really grew? Tell us about them!
There were many small moments when I grew - for example by taking on more responsibility or acting in a solution-orientated way in difficult situations. I have learnt to listen better, express myself more clearly and successfully achieve goals together, particularly through working closely with the team.
What does "glow up" mean for you and your job?
For me, a "glow up" means positive development - both professionally and personally. It's the phase in which you become more self-confident, develop your skills further and feel more and more secure in your role. For me, it's the chance to realise my full potential and become the best version of myself professionally every day.
What advice would you give to someone at the start of their career?
Stay patient - and curious. Focus on continuous learning and remain open to new experiences. Take every opportunity to further your education and never underestimate the value of a good network. Be flexible, because the path is rarely straightforward. And above all: recognise your strengths - and dare to use them.

- "My glow-up is a mix of personal development and strategic responsibility. MEDIA CENTRAL has allowed me to grow - professionally, but also personally."
How have you changed professionally since you started with us?
My move to MEDIA CENTRAL as Assistant CEO required both professional and interpersonal adjustments. In terms of content, it was and is about understanding the strategic and operational requirements of the new company and actively helping to shape them. Interpersonally, it was crucial to get to know the people, build trust, respect the corporate culture and take on a positive leadership role.
The combination of these two aspects led to a successful integration and sustainable development - for which I am very grateful.
Were there moments when you really grew? Tell us about them!
Yes, lots of them. Always when it comes to building relationships, strengthening networks and achieving goals together in an open, trusting relationship. When sparring, trust and passion come together, an atmosphere is created in which I can give my best and create real added value.
What does "Glow Up" mean to you and your job?
Impressive and positive - that's how I would describe it. Every day brings new challenges, inspiring encounters with experts from a wide range of fields and diverse topics. It is precisely this mix that allows me to constantly develop both professionally and personally.
What advice would you give to someone at the start of their career?
Use your curiosity - ask questions, be open and learn everything you can to help you arrive in your role. Always remain yourself: Authenticity, attitude and clear goals make all the difference.
And never forget - openness, respect, commitment, team spirit, results orientation, patience, self-management, humour and joy are valuable companions on your journey.
